Meet Our Principal
Prabhakar Jha

It was a happy moment for me in September 1998 when I received the news of my appointment as a lecturer in Geography at this prestigious institution. Even today, I consider myself extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve this institution for the past 28 years, where I have worked my way up from lecturer to Vice Principal and currently, for the last seven years, as its Principal.

I have learned a great deal at this institution. Its greatest strength is that we impart education based on high moral values to our wards. Transparency is a legacy in every field. This school is a boon for the economically backward sections of society. They receive not just bookish knowledge but also taught how to conduct themselves in public and speak properly. We try to make good citizens out of them.

I am also receiving immense support from my colleagues in this service.

With everyone's cooperation, the Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir Ucch Madhyamik Vidyalaya is progressing well. I have not only hope but complete confidence that we will succeed in our goal of providing high-quality education to boys and girls from all walks of life.

Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens in the home, between home and school too. The home’s and school’s mission therefore is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners.

Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. Hence , a true leader does not deviate from the path he/she sets his/her heart and mind to , nor does he or she lets any hurdle become a barrier in achieving that goal. No excuses, no pain but the fire to do something better and better and better.

It is a great privilege to be part of the esteemed Geeta Bajaj Bal Mandir Sansthan and get an opportunity to nurture the students and help them sharpen their ability to observe, think critically, solve problems, innovate and become leaders when needed.
