Our Management Team Executives

Shri Ravi Kumar Gupta
President (Since Sep. 2020)

Shri Ravi Kumar Gupta has been our Chairman since Sep. 2020. Even before that he had been actively associated with us since 2016 and he volunteered to help and advise us during the biggest infrastructure development and renovation exercise in the Sansthan’s history, when he designed and supervised the construction of the new NTPC Block and the Geeta Girdhar Sabhagar (Auditorium). 
 

Shri Gupta  is amongst the most reputed and accomplished architects in the country. After graduating in architecture in 1974 from the Chandigarh College of Architecture, Punjab, he founded his own firm in Jaipur in 1974. Today he is principal architectural consultant to various industrial group in and out of Rajasthan including the house of Ambanis (the Reliance Mukesh Ambani Group), the Oberoi Group of hotels, and many other prestigious business houses.

Earlier on in his career he has been architectural consultant to the Rajasthan Small Industries Corporation, Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation, the University of Rajasthan, etc.,  during which he designed the Rajasthali Handicrafts Emporium in Delhi, lots of exhibition pavilions and tourist bungalows, information centres and also helped with environmental development works. He also designed the prestigious tourist village for the Rowing Event of  the IX Asian Games (1982) at Ramgarh.

 

Shri Gupta is also associated with various charitable institutions and carrying out design activity for the same.


We are privileged and honoured that despite having such a busy professional life, Gupta ji accepted to be our Chairman.

Shri Gurdev Singh Soin
Secretary (Since Aug. 2014)

Gurdev Singh, who has Bal Mandir literally in his blood, is the only grandchild of Late Geeta Bajaj. He is the son of Late Jasdev Singh ji, who served Bal Mandir as Secretary for nearly 18 years. Gurdev Singh joined the Sansthan Management as a Member of the Executive Committee in May 2010,  and was appointed Secretary in  Aug. 2014. He lives in New Delhi but now spends about a week every month in Jaipur to look after the Sansthan's affairs.  

​An Electrical and Railway Engineer by profession, Gurdev Singh is a well known name in Indian Railways and the various Metro organisations. During the last 35 years, he has played a frontline role in ensuring that all new mainline and metro  trains in the country have the most modern technology and most of the equipment on these trains  is made in India under technology transfer from reputed foreign companies - every electric locomotive running on the country’s rail network today is built to technology that  he brought from ABB in the 1990s, ensuring that these were built in India within 5 years of contract signing !  This locomotive is today the backbone of the vast railway network across the length and breadth of the country, which has supported the rapid growth of industry. 

​Radio and Television Broadcasting & Journalism

​Apart from his engineering business involvement, Mr. Gurdev Singh has been a popular sports commentator on radio and television since late 1970s.  Selected to the international panels for sports commentaries  together with  the top Radio / TV commentators in India for Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis, Football, Athletics, he has covered a large number of national and international events including World Cup Cricket in 1987, World Cup Hockey in 1981, Champions Trophy Hockey in Australia in 1985, Asian Games in 1982 in Delhi, Asian Basketball Championships in Kolkata in 1981, Indian Hockey Team’s tour of Pakistan 1988, and many other series of Cricket , Hockey & Basketball tournaments in India.

Over his long broadcasting career he has shared the microphone with the top names in the field, including Raj Singh Dungarpur, Harsha Bhogle, Tiger Pataudi etc.

Shri Rajesh Patni
Treasurer (since March 2015),
Exec. Committee Member (since Oct. 2013)

Shri Rajesh Patni , inheriting the mantle of his Late father Shri Komal Chand Patni (who served Bal Mandir as Chairman for almost 16 years), joined the Sansthan Executive as its Vice Chairman and has been its Treasurer since 2015.

Together with the Sansthan’s Secretary Shri Gurdev Singh, he shoulders the big responsibility of managing the day to day affairs of the institution.

​​Born and educated at the prestigious Xaviers’ School and a commerce graduate  from the University of Rajasthan, Rajesh Patni has been involved in the real estate business and also in natural marble and granite. Apart from Bal Mandir, he has been actively associated with a number of social organisations.​He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys is daily walks which are a second religion to him.

Shri Prashant Sharma
Vice President (Since Aug. 2025,
Exec. Commitee Member (since 2023)

Shri Prashant Sharma has been on our Executive Committee since 2023 and as Vice Chairman since August 2025.

​He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is currently practicing as a Chartered Accountant since 1999 as the founder partner of V.P. Sharma & Associates Chartered Accountants. He is also an insolvency professional registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India since 2017. He has had his schooling from St. Xavier’s School Jaipur, graduation from Commerce College, Jaipur and CA Article training from Kalani & Co. Jaipur.

 

​Sharma ji is also the founder convenor of Mansarover CPE Study Circle of CIRC of ICAI and has addressed many professional seminars on varied subjects. His professional area of expertise includes Management Consultancy, Project Consultancy, Auditing, Tax Planning, Insolvency, and representation before various authorities and tribunals.

Mrs.Preeti Khanna
Exec. Committee Member (since 2018)

Daughter of  our past Secretary Late Jasdev Singh and Grand-daughter of Late Geeta Bajaj, Preeti ji (more popularly known as Tina ji by all in the Sansthan family), has also inherited a love for Bal Mandir right from er childhood. She has spent a lot of time with Geeta Didi and had also served as a teacher in the school for a couple of years before getting married into the Khanna family of Patna / Allahabad. She is home science graduate from the University of Deli and was always on top of class, be it her school or her college in New Delhi.

Preeti Khanna joined the Sansthan Executive Committee in 2018 and takes keen interest in its activities, particularly when it comes to art and culture.

Ms.Kamal Pangadiya 

Exec. Committee Member (since 2020)

Kamal Pangadiya, better known to all in our campus as 'Kamal Didi', has been a teacher all through her life - in a way, she has dedicated her life to the noble field of education. She is also attached to Bal Mandir almost from her childhood, being the daughter of Late B L Pangadiya ji, who was a close associate of Mrs. Geeta Bajaj almost from the time that it was started. 

Kamal didi served as Principal in the Rajakiya Ucch Madhyamik Vidyalaya at Jaipur's Malviya Nagar and later at the   Maharaja's Balika Ucch Madhyamik Vidyalaya. For her services  as a dedicated teacher and a well known social worker, she has received a large number of honours, the best known being the Rashtrapati Puraskar, the Rajyapal Award and the Red Cross Gold Medal. 

Although she only joined us officially as a management committee member in 2020, she has long been known in Bal Mandir for o0rganising many activities through a number of social organisations as also getting donations in cash an kind to support children who cannot afford their fees or buying the school uniform or books and note books. She also arranges every year, woollen sweaters for children  whose parents can not afford them. 

 
She almost regularly attends all our meetings and  the functions that are organised in the campus.

Mrs.Sonal Surana
Exec. Committee Member (since 2020)

Sonal Surana is a Housewife Cum Business-woman representing  the well known House of Suranas  on various platforms and social service NGOs. She has a legacy with Bal Mandir - her father-in-law Late Shri Prakash Chand Surana was Treasurer in our management team for many years and had a long association with the Sansthan.

Sonal ji's immaculate jewellery designing skills fuse tradition & modernity in one thread. Having Travelled far and wide, her personality has absorbed worldly outlook & empathy. She has been a regular at attending our functions and participating in our activities. 

Mrs.Nilima Jain


Exec. Committee Member (since 2020)

Mrs. Nilima Jain belongs to a business family : he late father in law Shri Dharam Singh ji lived in the neighbourhood of Bal Mandir and was closely associated with our founder Late Geeta Bajaj. Together they fought the battle for peace and harmony in the area when the state authorities - in the late 1960s were allotting the pice of land adjacent to the Sansthan for the construction of a cinema hall. They fought all the way to the Supreme Court of India and finally courts ruled to stop this. 

Nilima ji personally has been involved with our activities since 2020 - she regularly participates in most our functions and meetings and gives valuable suggestions whenever we look to her advice.

Mrs.Kuljit G.Soin
Exec. Committee Member (since 2023)

Mrs. Soin is the grand-daughter in law of Late Geeta Bajaj and spent over 12 years with her after her marriage into the family; as such she saw and understood the devotional attitude of her the whole family towards service to the society and its impact on the future generations of Indians. Born in New Delhi, she completed her schooling and graduation from Delhi University before getting married into the illustrious family. 

Kuljit ji has seen Bal Mandir for more than 4 decades now, although she has formally joined its management team only two years back. She takes active interest in its cultural activities and especially in the primary classes. She is a regular at all our programmes and also management meetings.

Shri Ravi Khandelwal 
Exec. Committee Member (since 2023)

Businessman and Industrialist Ravi Khandelwal .  Age 61 years, is an MBA,  and a graduate (B.Sc.) and although he has only formally joined our Executive Team in 2023, he has been informally associated with us ever since he was a child who would visit our campus regularly with his father, Late Sita Ram ji Khandelwal who had been an integral part of the Bal Mandir family since the Sixties. Despite being a businessman, he has always been available to us for any help as required and also been one of the  most regular MT members when it comes to being present at our meetings and all our functions.


He is also associated with the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry as its Additional Secretary and also held the responsibility of the Secretary's  position for three years in the KVGIT College (Vaishali Nagar).

Shri Ram Prakash Chowdhary
Exec. Committee Member (since 2023)

Nearly 76 years of age, Ram Prakash ji  did his B.Sc. and BMS and joined All India Radio, Jaipur, in 1971 as an Engineering Assistant. After serving nearly 20 years with All India Radio, he quit his job and started on his own in the field of Sound and Electronics engineering where he was a specialist.

His association with Bal Mandir started in the 50s itself when his father late Dr Gajadhar  Prasad Chaudhary got associated with Geeta  ji , whom Ram Prakash ji says, he addressed as Mausi ji.

Ram Prakash ji has a long association with the field of education, having been a member of the Agrawal Shiksha  Samiti in Jaipur since 2006, and for six years he was the secretary of the Agrawal Senior Secondary School and later the secretary of its  BEd college.

He has been associated with Bal Mandir in an unofficial capacity for a long period of time , in particular during the period 1995 onwards on account of his friendship with Late Jasdev Singh, who was also a senior officer of All India Radio..

He takes key interest in all our activities and functions.
