National Seminar hosted by BEd College

A National Seminar on the theme “Indian Knowledge System: Continuity, Change and Contemporary Relevance” was organized at Geeta Bajaj Women Teacher Training College. Keynote speakers included Prof. P.C. Trivedi (former Vice-Chancellor), Dr. Raghav Prakash (Director, Parishkar College of Global Excellence), Dr. Yogesh Sharma (Professor, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, New Delhi), Dr. Poornima Mishra (HOD, Department of Education, University of Rajasthan), and Dr. Kamla Vashisht (former Director, Jaipur National University).


All speakers highlighted the richness of the Indian knowledge system, its ancient mathematical concepts, scientific achievements, and linguistic excellence, emphasizing the need for its contemporary application. They stressed promoting holistic development, research aptitude, and innovation among students.

 

During the technical session, more than 30 research scholars and students presented their papers. Subject experts included Dr. Rita Sharma, Dr. Pramila Dubey, Dr. Rekha God, and Dr. Vinod Kumari.

 

In the concluding session, Dr. Shalini Saxena and Dr. Monika Rao shared their views, distributed certificates to participants, and awarded first, second, and third prizes for the best presentations, marking the successful completion of the Seminar.
